Harry Potter is always a character which is popular to kids and grown-ups. Its cosplay costume is easy to complete and immediately recognizable. Maroon and Gold are the common colors of Gryffindor house. We can show them off on Harry’s tie, scarf, robe, glasses, hair, wand and clothes.
The Gryffindor scarf is often finished through crocheting, knitting and felting. The knit scarf pattern can have thick blocks of color instead of the thin lines of the Gryffindor scarf that the older students wear. We can peel off any bark and use a piece of sandpaper to smooth down the sides of the stick. To gain a pointed end, we can use a small knife to whittle the end of the stick. We can also shave the end of the stick with adult supervision, and apply a dark or light wood varnish to our smoothed wand. Finaly, when we pick Harry Potter cosplay costume, we had better look in a few local thrift shops for these simple elements. It is a good choice to find a white button-down shirt and a blakc or gray vest to wear over it. We can make our own simple black drawstring pants, wearing a pair of black slacks.
